KIA "Red Flash" Commercials

Last fall, I got to be the Property Master on this series of "choose-your-own-adventure" commercials for the KIA Forte Koup. The whole experience was tons of fun!

I did the comic pages that got animated at the end, and several of my comic covers were props in the comic store along with covers by my buddies Brett Nienburg and Tom Rasch.

Here is the collage of cropped sections of pieces that I threw together for my bio page in the back of this summer's preview edition of Barbaric that I printed for Denver Comic Con. In counting through them, only about 25% are from professional work with the rest being from personal study or personal projects.

Ever since 'Terminator Salvation', I've been hoping for a follow-up film or comic following the struggles of a grown-up Star. Here, I have her attracting the attention of two Terminators (a T-800 and T-600) with a road flare, then falling out of the way as they blast each other.

ATI's Ruby

So this is about a year old by now, but I think it's finally clear to show. Illfonic did a sweet tech-demo for ATI and this is their new design for Ruby. Cole Eggen added some key visual elements to this costume design. I love his approach to mech & tech.

Light Studies & Environments

Here are some studies... The first two are live figure sittings, the Italian Island is from photo reference, the night street scene was a live sitting from inside a 24 hour cafe in Denver, and the last 3 (Desert Docking Station, Mars Mechanic, and Thai Tunnel) were fun practice pieces done from the hip. (TT used some photo ref).

Aaaahhh... the Dorm Revival that is Comic-Con. Just when you thought that you and your friends were already very close, you get to share something like this to take the relationship to that next level.  Actually - Brett, Nate and Rassamee were all very splendid as roommates.
